Herne Bay beach scene reduction linocut art print

'Herne Bay at dusk' -  A linocut print inspired by the North Kent seaside town of Herne Bay. Celebrating the iconic pier, clock town, beach huts and in the distance the Kentish north downs and ancient Roman fort Reculver Towers.

Reduction linocut print, printed using block printing ink on quality printmaking paper. 
Signed and edition in pencil. 
Print size A5. Mounted in an acid free white 8"x10" mount.

Limited edition of 30.

The reduction print process involves carving away more of the block between each colour layer.

All prints are backed with 100% recycled/reused backing board and arrive packaged in a plastic free compostable bio-based cello sleeve.

We try to package all items in plastic-free, recycled or reused materials where possible.

We design and create all pieces by first hand drawing the design onto Lino, and then we hand carve the Lino. Next, ink is hand rolled on to the Lino plates, finally the design is ready to be pressed on to the card or paper using a hand barren.

All prints are individually hand printed and unique as such there may be small variations between ink density and colour.
